Bridgeway

Bridgeway is a not-for-profit human services organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities in west central Illinois and southeast Iowa.  Services provided include:  behavioral health counseling, vocational training, substance abuse, family services, community employment, services to individuals with developmental disabilities and community living.  Through these services Bridgeway staff work to provide creative solutions for everyone.

Bridgeway Training Services offers job opportunities as well as provides services to our communities such as data entry, recycling, janitorial services, metal fabrication.

Our Philosophy

Our primary focus is on the needs and desires of the consumers; the development of innovative ways to achieve consumer goals, the removal of barriers that hinder access to services and the continuous enhancement of the quality of our services and the quality of life of the people we serve.

Newsflash

Iowa Services Awarded an Innovative Telehealth Project! 
Bridgeway's Application to initiate Telepsychiatry Services at our Keokuk and Burlington Clinic sites has been approved and funded! This state-wide initiative referred to as the "Medicaid Community Reinvestment Standard Model Telehealth Project" is an effort to improve access to psychiatric services primarily in the rural areas of the state.

BTS Activities
The number of IL-1040 forms being received each day for the Illinois Department of Revenue mail-processing contract is gradually increasing.  Interviews continue being held for the hiring of additional staff members to process the forms.
Nebraska Rubber Innovations has approved the design for the new custom-made Ursa Major stencil called the Smile Lab. Tom Pospeschil designed the stencil to Nebraska Rubber Innovations specifications.
The metal working shop delivered the ramps that it custom made for the Illinois National Guard building in Macomb.  Two more sets of ramps are scheduled to be fabricated and powder-coated.
The metal working shop is powder-coating an airfoil and associated parts for a sprint car.
The Galesburg workshop has been producing plastic bags this week to fulfill a new order.
